The board of Imo Oceanum has decided to send an executive team to the Galápagos Islands to execute a SAR feasibility study. The team is planning to start its work on the islands on the 16th of November.

The executive team consists of (from left to right):

Leif Nylander

CHIEF OF STAFF

Leif Nylander is a retired naval officer from the Royal Swedish Navy with the rank of Rear Admiral.

  • Chief of Swedish Armed Forces Procurement
  • Military Adviser at the Swedish Ministry of Defense
  • Swedish representative for in­ternational collaborations such as NORDAC, EDIR-FA, ITEP, NSHP and NAHEMO
  • President of the Royal Swedish Society of Naval Sciences
  • President of the Friends of the Vasa museum Association

Peter Bager

HEAD OF MARINE OPERATIONS

Peter Bager is a retired naval officer from the Royal Swedish Navy with the rank of Rear Admiral (LH)

Hans Erlandsson

Hans Erlandsson is a retired police officer from the Stockholm PD with the rank of Police Chief Inspector.

Paul Forell is a retired police officer from the Stockholm PD with the rank of Police Chief Inspector.
